My name is Scott E Hiniker. I have made Long Island City, Queens, NYC my home since before 9-11. I am an American who has traveled to all 50 states and worked abroad in Japan for 2 years after graduating from Tulane University in New Orleans, LA with a Major in History and Minor in the Japanese language. In 1994, I spent 100 days at sea on a ship that circumnavigated the globe making ports-of-call in 10 countries. I visited Japan, Philippines, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Turkey, Ukraine, and Morocco. Since relocating to NYC, I have taken advantage of the easy and inexpensive flights to Europe with over a dozen trips to date. I have visited many regions around France, Spain, and Italy over the years as well as sojourns in England, Holland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, and Hungary. I've experienced the struggles and thrills faced by visitors to a foreign country many times. My company VISITALITY is named after that feeling of being a visitor in an unknown land when a local gave a warm gesture of welcoming hospitality when it mattered most. Visitality International embodies the state of mind of being both gracious host and grateful visitor.
